Erasmus+ Traineeship.

Interested in completing an internship at one of JKU's departments?

The International Office does NOT arrange traineeship placements for incoming students. If you are interested in an Erasmus+ traineeship at JKU, please

  1. contact the respective department(s) or potential supervisor(s) directly. The faculties and departments can be found here.
  2. Once you have been accepted for the traineeship, and once the Learning Agreement for Traineeships has been signed by all parties, fill out our online application, opens an external URL in a new window.
  3. The International Office will take care of the requested housing arrangements and forward your personal information to the Admission Office for official enrolment.

Clinical Traineeship.

Are you interested in doing a clinical traineeship at one of Austria's top hospitals?

The Kepler University Hospital in Linz offers international students an opportunity to acquire hands-on, practical experience. There are different options depending on the program at your home university.

If you are from one of the following universities, the JKU would be happy to welcome you for a 4-week internship as part of the EPU framework:

  • Fudan University, Shanghai
  • Tongji University School of Medicine, Shanghai
  • The University of Hong Kong/Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine
  • Beijing University of Chinese Medicine
